Production Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES/ KEY ACTIVITIES
Improve Department Performance: Monitor and improve the performance of the production department to meet company goals.
Maintain Good Industrial Relations: Foster a positive working environment and maintain strong relationships with staff and stakeholders.
Optimize Product Manufacture: Ensure products are manufactured efficiently, meeting quality standards and deadlines.
Develop Staff Skills: Implement training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the production team.
Guarantee and Improve Product Quality: Continuously monitor and improve the quality of products to meet customer expectations.
Customer Satisfaction: Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction (end-user or co-manufacturing) and address issues due to product quality promptly.
Ensure Safety: Ensure the safety of personnel and goods, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
Reduce Risks: Identify and mitigate risks associated with the production process.
Environmental Impact: Develop and implement practices to reduce the environmental impact of production activities.
Market Adaptation: Finalize and develop new product specifications with relevant stakeholders to respond to changes in market prices and demands.
Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality.
Any other projects and tasks as reasonably required by the Company.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
Education
Bachelor's Degree/ Professional Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum 8 years in production management, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Competencies
Proactive and dynamic leader, who is flexible and receptive to new ideas.
Capable of working independently in adherence to regulations, of remaining calm under pressure.
Able to demonstrate a sense of responsibility and high professional standards, objectivity and an ability to see the bigger picture.
Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.
Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.
